Mirhonda Studevant, also known as the Knowledge Management (KM) Chef, is part of the innovative documentation team at GitHub, a dynamic content kitchen that supports a world-class, web-based Git repository hosting service.
Mirhonda holds an undergraduate degree in Technical and Professional Communication and an MBA, with a Knowledge and Learning Management concentration, from Southern Polytechnic State University. Her areas of interest include virtual collaboration, information architecture, decision sciences, and knowledge management.
A former chapter president, Mirhonda’s articles have appeared in Society for Technical Communication (STC) Atlanta publications, STC Intercom magazine, and Center for Information-Development Management newsletter. Mirhonda is the author of “Inviting Collaboration with Customers,” a chapter in the Virtual Collaborative Writing in the Workplace: Computer-Mediated Communication Technologies and Processes textbook.
