Lisa L. Trager brings a wealth of experience from working on both the agency and client side. She recently joined Verizon Wireless as Senior Manager of Digital & Content Strategy where she leads a national team who work within Digital Operations specifically on the Support section of the site.
Prior to this, Lisa worked as Director of Content Strategy at Publicis N.A., where she introduced the practice of Content Strategy and led a team assigned to various brands including Abbott Nutrition, Merck, Sanofi, Citibank, Cadillac, and P&G.
An intrinsic storyteller, she was also acknowledged by the National Endowment for the Humanities and New York Council for the Humanities by earning a scripting grant for a documentary film about the artists, thinkers, and writers known as the bohemians, who lived in Greenwich Village just after the turn of the 20th century. An evangelist for content strategy, Lisa often gives workshops and presentations on the topic both locally and at conferences. Lisa is also a contributing author to the book, The Language of Content Strategy, by Scott Abel and Rahel Anne Bailie, on the topic of Search Engine Optimization.
